Sanyo released a new underwater camcorder. At the first stage, the camera will be sold only in Mexico and the United States. This was reported in the press release by Sanyo.

Sanyo VPC-WH1 Waterproof camcorder is in the range of Dual Camera series and is available in blue and yellow. The price of the camera is $400.

Sanyo VPC-WH1 can operate at depths of up to three meters. Maximum video resolution, which can record this device – 720r at a speed of 30 frames per second. Photo camera has 2 megapixel resolution.

Dimensions of Sanyo VPC-WH1 are 5,3×10,1×5,7 cm, weight – 355 grams. Diagonal of screen is 2.5 inches.

Sanyo VPC-WH1 has 30x optical zoom. The camera has image stabilization system and face recognition feature.
